Rishiraj Rakesh Kumar

Rishiraj Rakesh Kumar is a final-year undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering, with a minor specialization in Embedded Systems, at the Manipal Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, India. A recipient of his college’s Achiever’s Scholarship, his work centers on AI-Native Networks and Embedded Firmware Design and Development.

His research in self-healing network orchestration has secured multiple merit positions in ITU FG AINN-organized Build-a-thons and was showcased at the ITU AI for Good Global Summit 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland. Additionally, he was recognized among the top 40 candidates worldwide in the TRON Programming Contest 2025 in Japan for developing an Ear-worn Cognitive AI Assistant featuring a practical, real-world Edge AI implementation.

Beyond his research, Rishiraj took on key leadership roles at MIT Bengaluru, serving as General Secretary of ElectroVista (the first electronics club) and head of Thermal Subsystems for ICARUS, the inaugural student satellite team. He currently contributes and works in the Drone-Tech industry in the Embedded Firmware domain.
