Pieternel Boogaard

Ms. Pieternel Boogaard has been appointed as Managing Director of the Office of Technical Delivery in IFAD as of 2 December 2024. She is a Dutch national joining from FMO, the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank, where she led the Agribusiness, Food and Water and the Private Equity Divisions. Prior to this, she had a successful international career in finance and management in the private sector with ING Bank and KBC Bank. Ms Boogaard Pieternel holds a degree in Law from the University of Leiden, has been a member of various (Non) Executive Boards including as Chair of the Dutch Fund for Climate and Development.
