Paulo Ceppi

Dr Paulo Ceppi is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Physics, Imperial College London. His expertise is in the physics of climate variability and change, with a special focus on climate feedback processes. From April 2024 he will be funded by a five-year ERC Starting Grant, worth €1.5M, to develop a new theoretical framework that describes and quantifies the impact of feedback processes on global climate, and its variations in time. Paulo is a contributor to Greta Thunberg’s The Climate Book, and his past research has been covered by international media outlets including the Washington Post, Scientific American and Carbon Brief.
