Mohamed Beriky

Mohamed Beriky is an Egyptian-born, Brazil-based Film Director and AI Cinema Director working through his creative label, Beriky Studios, at the intersection of cinema, artificial intelligence, visual storytelling, and social impact.

His work is built on nearly two decades of experience across cinema, television production, commercials, music videos, and international visual production, now extended through emerging AI-assisted cinematic workflows. He began his career in Egypt in 2009 as an assistant director, working across Egyptian film productions, major TV commercial campaigns for brands such as Coca-Cola, Lipton, and Fairy, as well as music videos, television productions, short films, documentaries, branded content, and educational media.

His academic background includes studies in social work, film directing, and advanced cinema studies, shaping a human-centered approach to storytelling grounded in emotion, ethics, symbolic structure, and cinematic craft. Alongside his creative work, he has held leadership roles in media and communications, contributed to the development and management of Sela TV in Saudi Arabia, and worked in film education and creative training, including as a filmmaking instructor in Türkiye and a film camp leader in Switzerland.

Through Beriky Studios, he independently develops director-led AI cinema that treats AI not as a replacement for authorship, but as a creative production medium guided by human intention, directorial vision, cinematic craft, and emotional storytelling.His recent AI-assisted works have received international recognition across creative technology, AI cinema, and social impact platforms, including the CapCut Video Studio Challenge, Fairground’s Best of AI, and his current Finalist selection at the AI for Good Film Festival 2026.
