Misuk Lee

Dr. Misuk Lee received Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Korea, in 2001. Since Feb. 2002, she has been joining with Electronics and Technology Research Institute (ETRI), Daejeon, Korea.  She had been involved in 3 projects for the development and standardization of voice codec over 10 years. She has also worked in image processing field for the development of immersive telepresence system. She has been involved in the project of “Development of integrated platform technology for fire and disaster management in underground utility tunnel based on digital twin” since last year. In this project, she is involved in system architecture design and development of sound event detection technology.  Her current research interests include speech(audio) coding and digital twin.
