Mario Schweikert

Mario Schweikert is a Computer Science student specializing in intelligent systems at RPTU Kaiserslautern, having broadened his expertise during a machine learning-focused semester abroad at the University of California, Berkeley.

As a Student Assistant at the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), he is currently investigating ethnic bias in deepfake detection algorithms. Alongside his academic research, he contributes to the start-up MAIWY, a machine-learning application designed to diagnose grapevine leaf diseases.

To complement these academic and entrepreneurial endeavors, Mario has further developed his practical expertise through internships with the Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence team at Porsche Consulting and through other student and internship positions in software development and cybersecurity.
