Manjari Sheel

Manjari leads Product for the School Education portfolio at Wadhwani AI, shaping the product vision for Bhasha Saarthi — Wadhwani AI’s Oral Reading Fluency tool that has reached 8 million students across India — as well as newer initiatives in Numeracy and Remediation. She brings over a decade of experience at the intersection of education and technology, having designed programmes and tools that reach children where they are. Earlier in her career, she built a suite of teacher and parent tools to personalise in-class learning — work recognised by Hundred.org, a global platform spotlighting education innovation. She has also taught across levels, from early childhood to primary grades and senior electives. At Wadhwani AI, Manjari draws on her background in Design Thinking and works at the confluence of pedagogy, machine learning, and design — collaborating with pedagogues, ML scientists, and designers to build AI-powered tools that keep both teachers and students at the centre. Her focus is on ensuring these tools are robust enough to serve India’s rich multilingual reality. She holds a Bachelor’s in Design from NIFT, New Delhi.
