Julien Camirand-Lemyre

Julien Camirand Lemyre is the co-founder and CEO of Nord Quantique, a deep-tech company working to unlock the full potential of quantum computing. Trained as a quantum physicist with a PhD from the Université de Sherbrooke, Julien built his career at the intersection of quantum computing and system engineering, developing expertise in the vertical integration of quantum computing technologies.

Recognizing both the promise and the fundamental challenges of quantum computing, Julien co-founded Nord Quantique to address one of the field’s greatest barriers: reliability at scale. Under his leadership, the company is pioneering new approaches to quantum architecture and error correction, working toward the realization of fault-tolerant quantum computers capable of solving problems beyond the reach of classical machines.

Julien’s entrepreneurial vision is rooted in the belief that quantum technology will redefine the limits of computation and unlock breakthroughs across industries. With bold technological ambition, he is helping position Canada as a global leader in the quantum revolution and building the foundations for the next era of computing.
