Henk Birkholz

Henk Birkholz is an Standards Architect contributing at international
Standards Defining Organizations. He Co-Chairs the IETF IoT Operations
Working Group and the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) Attestation Working
Group, and is a member of the IETF IoT Directorate. He is the lead
author of the IETF Remote Attestation Procedures Architecture (RFC 9334)
and of the forthcoming Architecture for Trustworthy and Transparent
Digital Supply Chains (RFC-to-be 9942) — the architecture specifications
of the IETF RATS and SCITT Working Groups, both of which he proposed and
chartered. He served as a Subject Matter Expert on the US White House
National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC) and is a
Designated Expert on the ENISA European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet
Ad-Hoc Working Group.

Henk is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of XOR, where his work
brings verifiable trust and accountability to the AI systems that
increasingly act on behalf of organizations and people. His current
standards focus extends his attestation and supply-chain transparency
lineage to autonomous agents: as lead author of the IETF Internet-Draft
Verifiable Agent Conversation Records
(draft-birkholz-verifiable-agent-conversations), he is defining a
signed, interoperable record format for agent trajectories that speaks
to both the trustworthiness as well to the accountability and
transparency of Agentic AI systems.
