Emanuel Lukawiecki

Emanuel Lukawiecki is a PhD student in International Affairs at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University, where his research focuses on AI coordination dynamics and synthetic media governance. In parallel with his academic research, he works for the Government of Canada and the Canadian Insider Risk Management Centre of Excellence. He also serves as a volunteer Young Researcher Associate supporting the AI and multimedia authenticity standards collaboration within the ITU AI for Good initiative. He is active in global internet governance, including within the ICANN Community and the Internet Society, and previously served as Canada’s Generation Connect Youth Envoy to the ITU.
