Ben Ellencweig

Ben is a Senior Partner with McKinsey & Company and a global leader of QuantumBlack (AI by McKinsey), Alliances, Acquisitions, and Partnerships. Ben recently led McKinsey’s acquisition of Iguazio (Machine Learning Operations platform) and spearheads McKinsey’s growing ecosystem of analytics partners. Ben advises clients globally on harnessing the power of AI to deliver growth and bottom-line impact across sectors.

Helping a leading ~$100B software player embark on its AI journey to transform the company with the power of GenAI through (a) driving greater productivity across its operations; (b) enhancing growth through Sales and marketing use cases; (c) spearheading product innovation. Supported a $125B defense player to evaluate the suitable tech architecture to support its GenAI adoption taking into consideration IP Protection, cost optimization, and vendor lockdown prevention. Developed a governance model to support the ‘democratization’ of AI across functions. Advised a leading $75B healthcare provider in North America to map and prioritize AI use cases, develop governance, and launch its GenAI journey to drive patient, doctor, and employee experience. Lead McKinsey client executive education on the topics of GenAI and AI adoption across technology, client delivery and capability building.

Prior to McKinsey and business school, Ben spent over a decade in various leadership roles within the government sector, deploying cutting-edge technology solutions. Amongst others, he served as Liaison Officer (rank: Major) in the Military Attaché Office in Washington, DC.

Ben holds an MBA with distinction from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science (Cum Laude) in Computer Science and Economics from Tel Aviv University.
