Ann E. Greenberg

Ann Greenberg is a pioneer in the democratization of digital media, a prolific inventor, and the President & Founder of Entertainment AI™, whose mission is Scaling the Human Story. The company’s patented Media Generation and SmartScript™ systems automate media creation by micronizing every story element into cryptographically tracked, reconfigurable components, enabling hyperpersonalized content at scale.

She co-founded Gracenote in 1998, the world’s first crowdsourced company and largest entertainment data company. Acquired by Nielsen in 2017, Gracenote’s technology became the global infrastructure for media identification, licensed to virtually every major media and automotive company on the planet. Using Gracenote’s data, Ann pioneered the first Digital Music charts published in Billboard.

Ann is the inventor on over 20 patents and applications in Media Identification, Synchronization, and Media Generation.

A former member of the IEEE Global Initiative on AI & Autonomous Systems, she is the author of Human-Centered Storytelling™ and a sought-after speaker and moderator, including AI Music and AI Film panels at San Francisco’s Generative AI Conference, the UN’s AI for Good, CES, SXSW, and Sundance.
