Angle Bush
In 2020, after attending an event that lacked the diversity needed to ensure access and opportunity in the artificial intelligence sector, Angle took action. She founded Black Women In Artificial Intelligence, an organization with a mission to Educate, Engage, Embrace, and Empower Black women in the Artificial Intelligence industry.
Over the past four years, Black Women In Artificial Intelligence has grown into a global entity with members across five continents: North America, South America, Europe, Australia, and Africa. At the heart of the organization’s initiatives are robust programs designed to provide guided career development, technical training, A.I. workforce Development solutions, and peer support.
Black Women In Artificial Intelligence has developed partnerships with leading companies, including Amazon, Capital One, Microsoft, and NVIDIA; ensuring its members have unparalleled access to cutting-edge resources, job opportunities, and collaborative projects. Through its various programs, BWIAI aspires to drive innovation and shape a more inclusive AI landscape for the future.
Beyond her work with Black Women In Artificial Intelligence, Angle is a sought-after speaker and thought leader on diversity and inclusion within the tech industry. She has shared her insights on global stages, advocating for a future where Black women are fully represented and valued in the field of technology.
Angle holds a Master’s degree in Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Development with a concentration in Public Administration from Central Michigan University. She also studied History at Harvard University. Currently, she serves as a Visiting Fellow at the University of Miami and is a member of the Central Michigan University College of Science and Engineering Advisory Board.
