Anahiby Becerril

An esteemed professor and consultant specializing in Law and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), with a focused expertise in human rights and international cybersecurity.

She was honored as a Top Woman in Cybersecurity Latin America 2021 and received the Woman and International Security in Cyberspace Fellowship (2019) awarded by the Government of Canada. In addition, she was granted the EU Fellowship (2024) from the European Union Institute for Security Studies under the European Union’s Cyber Diplomacy Initiative. These accolades underscore her active participation in global discussions on cybersecurity diplomacy, including involvement with the United Nations’ Open-ended Working Group on advancements in information and telecommunications in the context of international security.
