Amelle Benabdellaziz

Amelle Benabdellaziz is a Senior Program Officer with the IP for Business Division at WIPO. She contributes to the development of initiatives that support startups and SMEs in leveraging intellectual property as a strategic asset for growth, innovation and competitiveness.

Prior to joining WIPO in 2026, Amelle worked for more than 15 years as an Intellectual Property lawyer in both private practice and in-house. Most recently, she held intellectual property Manager positions in a multinational active in a highly regulated industry, where she was supporting the business with IP Management and strategy.

Her professional experience spans Intellectual Property strategy, brand management, commercialization, enforcement and the integration of intellectual property into broader business and innovation strategies.
