Adina Gray

Adina Gray is an international AI educator and keynote speaker. Through PurpleOwl AI, she helps educators, professionals, and community organizations build practical AI fluency. Her work centers on how artificial intelligence is reshaping learning, work, and opportunity.

Adina’s career spans more than two decades in post-secondary education, including 15 years teaching in the Bob Gaglardi School of Business and Economics at Thompson Rivers University in Canada. Over the past several years, her work has focused on the impact of generative AI on teaching, learning, assessment, and workforce readiness. As the School’s AI Lead, she advanced faculty AI literacy, supported curriculum and assessment adaptation, and organized AI summits bringing together educators, students, and business leaders.

Selected examples of her international work include visiting lecturer roles at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences in Germany and Tianjin University of Technology in China.

She has also presented at the AACSB AI Conference at NEOMA Business School in Paris in 2024 and EdMedia Innovate in Barcelona in 2025, and participated as an invited delegate at the Stanford AI + Education Summit in 2024 and the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi.
