From the Academy Award–winning teams behind Everything Everywhere All at Once and Navalny comes a hand-made, eye-opening documentary about the most powerful technology humanity has ever created—and what’s at stake if we get it wrong. Co-directed by Daniel Roher (Oscar winner for Navalny) and Charlie Tyrell and produced by Daniel Kwan, the film follows Roher as impending fatherhood forces a question haunting every parent-to-be: is this a good or bad time to bring a child into the world? To find out, he sits down with the people building our future and those warning us about it—among them Sam Altman, Dario and Daniela Amodei, Demis Hassabis, Yuval Noah Harari, and Tristan Harris. Moving between dread and wonder, it refuses easy answers, asking why we aren’t talking more about a future we may not be able to undo, and inviting us to choose hope with eyes wide open.

Following the screening, guests sit in conversation with Tristan Harris and Aza Raskin—co-founders of the Center for Humane Technology and co-hosts of Your Undivided Attention. Harris, a former Google design ethicist and central voice in The Social Dilemma, and Raskin, a National Geographic Explorer who also founded the Earth Species Project to decode animal communication, together embody the film’s central wager: that awareness, shared honestly, is the first step toward a future worth wanting.
