    IN THIS SESSION… Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), explains that digital technologies, including AI, will be ‘vital tools’ to achieve WHO’s top goals for providing better health and well-being for 1 billion more people. He also mentioned that AI is already playing a key role in preventing outbreaks and diagnosing treatments and “the use of Big Data and AI hold the promise of transforming health.”
