Food systems are being tested by climate change, conflict, rising costs, and disruptions across agricultural production and supply chains. For farmers, governments, and humanitarian organizations, resilience increasingly depends on identifying these pressures earlier, understanding their effects on crops, markets, and communities, and acting before disruptions deepen.

AI will not solve these challenges on its own, but it can help people understand changing conditions earlier and support more timely action. This session will focus on AI solutions being developed today for practical use in agriculture, disaster response, and food security decision-making.

Bringing together perspectives from AI research, humanitarian response, government, and agriculture, the discussion will examine where AI is helping now, where it can contribute in the future, and what is needed to ensure these tools are grounded in local priorities, institutions, and communities.
