IT and AI systems are increasingly shaping children’s everyday lives. For education, this raises a key question: how can students be empowered to not only use these systems in a conscious, reflected, and responsible way but also to become their future architects? Join us in this workshop to experience from a student perspective how AI competencies can be built effectively with LEGO® Education Computer Science & AI. Whether computer science is taught as a standalone subject or integrated into other disciplines,

LEGO Education Computer Science & AI provides an engaging, collaborative hands-on approach to computer science and AI learning from primary through secondary education. Developed to align with computer science and AI standards, it supports both generalist and specialist teachers with a wide range of ready-made learning units and clear guidance, enabling easy and efficient curriculum integration and ensuring that AI can be taught simply, safely, and in a competency-based way.

Join us in this workshop to use a pretrained AI classifier to give a monster directions and explore how computers can learn from data!

Lesson from LEGO® Education Computer Science & AI 8+ unit “AI & Data”, covering European Digital Competence Framework DigComp 3.0 standards CS1.2.08, CS3.3.12, CS3.4.09 (for local standards coverage see lessons on LEGO Education Teacher Portal).
