This high-impact session will bring global experts together to spotlight the future of brain-computer interface (BCI) technologies and the standards needed to ensure they are developed and deployed responsibly, safely, and for good.

The session will officially launch the Global Industrial Research Report on Brain-Computer Interface Technologies, offering a clear view of the global BCI landscape, emerging technical frameworks, industrial practices, and priority areas for international standardization.

It will also announce the establishment of the Pre-research Consortium for International BCI Standards Cooperation, an open, international alliance designed to build technical consensus, advance early standards research, and feed expert insights into ITU’s international BCI standardization work.

Through insights, a formal report release, and a joint unveiling by leading domestic and international experts, the session will discuss how to turn frontier BCI innovation into trusted, inclusive, and globally coordinated technology for good.
