The international human rights system is under unprecedented pressure — complex crises, rising instability and growing demands for rapid, reliable evidence are stretching the limits of what traditional approaches can deliver.

The Human Rights Data Exchange (HRDx) responds to this challenge. The world’s first open, authoritative human rights data service, HRDx uses a multi-agent AI architecture to bring together fragmented human rights data — from treaty body reports and field monitoring to statistical indicators and open-source signals — and transform it into rapid, reliable, actionable intelligence.

This session offers a live demonstration of that capability in action. Participants will see how specialised AI agents simultaneously process multiple dimensions of human rights data, surface interconnected patterns across legal, statistical and thematic evidence, and convert analysis that once required days of manual effort into contextual intelligence available in near real time.

For the first time, Member States, civil society, researchers and the UN system can access a shared, evidence-based picture of where rights are under pressure, how risks are evolving, and where action is most urgently needed. More than a platform, the HRDx is new, global, shared infrastructure for the human rights ecosystem.

HRDx transforms human rights principles into measurable realities, and data into a global public good. This is AI built for humanity: practical, accountable, designed for everyone, everywhere.
