AI is omnipresent in our daily lives, and our children are growing up in this environment. Should we introduce the topic of AI in the classroom and at home? If so, how? The Learn Center at EPFL presents a selection of “unplugged” (screen-free) resources designed to introduce children to the inner workings and societal implications of AI.

    Learning objectives:
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
    1. Explain core AI concepts through unplugged, age-appropriate activities.
    2. Identify suitable AI topics and resources for primary school learners.
    3. Facilitate discussions on AI’s ethical and societal implications.
