AI is rapidly transforming the world of work, reshaping skills demand, labour market dynamics and the nature of jobs across sectors. Enterprises are adopting AI to enhance productivity, respond to skills shortages and remain competitive, leading to a transformation of certain job roles, skills requirements and workplace practices. At the same time, these changes are creating challenges related to workforce transitions, job quality and inclusion, raising important questions for employers, workers and governments alike. Understanding and anticipating these impacts is essential for developing policies that foster decent work outcomes.

Under the umbrella of the Global Social Justice Coalition, this webinar provides context on some of the global developments at the India AI Impact Summit held in February 2026. It builds on discussions and steps taken since the AI Action Summit in Paris in 2025 and with partners of the Global Social Justice Coalition.

This AI for Good session will facilitate knowledge exchange among governments, employers and workers organizations, and other partners on inclusive and forward-looking strategies to promote decent and productive employment in the context of AI-driven transformation. The session will include an interactive question-and-answer segment on the AI for Good Neural Network. By doing so, it seeks to sustain and deepen ongoing dialogue among key stakeholders and international organizations, strengthening understanding of global actions, policy directions and shared commitments related to AI, work and society.
