The Three-Body Computing Constellation represents Zhejiang Lab’s practical effort to advance the development of space-computing infrastructure under the principle of “co-planning, co-Building, co-governance, and shared benefits”. As a scientific and technological public infrastructure initiative, it seeks to foster international collaboration in the emerging field of space computing and artificial intelligence.

Building upon this initiative, Zhejiang Lab organized the Space Computing Challenge, which attracted teams from around the world to develop and submit innovative algorithmic solutions addressing three major global challenges aligned with zero hunger, clean water, and sustainable cities and communities.

By leveraging the capabilities of the Three-Body Computing Constellation, the Challenge encouraged participants to explore how AI and space-computing technologies can contribute to addressing pressing global issues, while fostering international cooperation and innovation in support of sustainable development. The competition attracted diverse teams from multiple countries and regions, highlighting the growing global interest in applying advanced computing technologies to solve shared challenges facing humanity.
