Ageing in the artificial intelligence era

  • Date
    9 July 2026

    Duration
    30 minutes
As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly embedded in everyday life, it is reshaping how people access services, manage health and finances, learn, work and stay connected. Yet the benefits of AI are not reaching everyone equally. Older persons — particularly older women and those in developing regions — may face intersecting barriers linked to age, gender, geography, digital access, affordability, skills and trust.
Building on the newly launched report Artificial intelligence and ageing: inclusive pathways for older persons in a digital world, this 30-minute interactive session will explore how AI can better support inclusion, participation and well-being across the life course.
