A team of six young Ethiopians has departed for Geneva, Switzerland, to represent Ethiopia at the prestigious World AI Robotics Competition, taking place from July 8 to 11, 2025.
This global event, known as the “AI for Good Challenge”, is organized annually by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and brings together talented youth from over 40 countries to showcase innovative solutions using artificial intelligence and robotics.
The six students were selected through a rigorous screening process organized by the Seattle Academy, in collaboration with Ethiopia’s Ministry of Innovation and Technology.
