Robo Strikers

We are Robo Strikers Junior Team, a highly ambitious, innovative, and fast-learning group of young innovators from Lesotho. Passionate about using AI and robotics to create meaningful change, we design intelligent solutions that tackle real-world challenges and serve humanity. After a disappointing result last year, we returned stronger, more determined, and highly strategic. Turning setbacks into powerful motivation, we sharpened our skills, refined our strategies, and now compete with fierce focus and unity. Our competitive spirit drives us to push boundaries, learn new technologies quickly, and aim for victory while staying true to the “AI for Good” and “Robotics for Good” mission. This year’s theme of food security deeply inspires us, because in Lesotho, thousands of families face a severe food crisis. Due to erratic weather, prolonged droughts, declining crop yields, and rising food prices. Motivated by this reality at home, we developed prototypes of smart agriculture robotic solutions. Our AI-powered robots support precision farming by optimizing water use, monitoring crop health, improving soil management, and increasing yields even in challenging conditions through simulations. We are proud to compete with talented teams from around the world at the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Grand Finale. This global stage gives us the opportunity to showcase our robots, demonstrate the ingenuity of Lesotho’s youth, and contribute to solutions for one of humanity’s most pressing challenges. United by creativity, teamwork, and a strong desire to win, we believe technology must solve pressing problems. We are not just building robots; we are building a better, more resilient future for Lesotho and beyond.
