Yvonne Baldwin Mushi

Yvonne Baldwin Mushi is an Al and Robotics infrastructure entrepreneur working at the intersection of technology, capital, and human dignity. Her work is driven by a simple but urgent belief that technology should serve humanity first and that the most powerful innovations must reach the people who need them most; especially where systems are weakest.

Her work spans more than innovation; it is about systems. She is the co-creator of the STISA 2034 Presidential African Youth in Artificial Intelligence & Robotics initiative alongside the African Union Development Agency AUDA-NEPAD and the AU high level panel on emerging technologies (APET), a continental platform that has mobilized thousands of young innovators across 44 African countries, shaping the next generation of African technologists (now in its third edition).

As the founder of Ele-vate Al Africa, she is building pathways for artificial intelligence to move beyond theory into context-relevant, real, functioning infrastructure across the continent. She is the architect of MamaMate, the world’s first Offline Al-powered maternal companion designed for low-connectivity environments reimagining how care. can reach women in underserved communities who have historically been left out of digital progress.

Her work has been recognized globally, including two Global awards from the United Nation’s International Telecommunication Union (ITU) as the 2025 Global Al for Good Innovation Factory Champion, and Leading women shaping the future she has also been featured on international platforms such as TEDxBerlin, World Health Organization and the Global Perspectives Initiative. Yvonne’s voice sits at the convergence of policy, innovation, and implementation. She continues to contribute towards the advancement of inclusive, context relevant innovation. Whether in boardrooms, policy dialogues, or grassroots ecosystems, she brings a perspective grounded in lived African realities and a commitment to building technology that is inclusive, measurable, and built to last. Yvonne is not just building solutions she is contributing to redefining what it means for technology to truly serve humanity inclusively.
