He currently serves as a Process Improvement Leader at a startup, where he is responsible for managing billing and subscriptions, optimizing collection strategies, and enhancing operational efficiency through data-driven decision-making. His role involves analyzing key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions to streamline internal operations.

Prior to this role, he worked as a Logistics and Distribution Analyst, ensuring efficient supply chain operations across a large network of locations. He played a key role in developing forecasting models to maintain optimal inventory levels and contributed to strategic projects, such as the implementation of a last-mile order allocation and routing engine designed to enhance delivery performance and cost efficiency. Cindy Moncada is an entrepreneurship & innovation program leader, deep-tech mentor, and sustainability advocate collaborating with AI Initiatives to translate cutting-edge artificial-intelligence research into ventures that create measurable social and environmental impact. Drawing on an experience designing EU-funded accelerator programs at RMIT Europe and mentoring 45 + CleanTech and circular-economy startups across Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific, Cindy specializes in turning lab breakthroughs into market-ready solutions. She has trained more than 60 researchers in research-to-business methodologies, secured funding in competitive European projects, and co-founded purpose-driven ventures recognized for reducing plastic waste by 85 %. As Vice-President of the Entrepreneurship Commission at Barcelona’s 22@ Innovation District, she builds global founder communities anchored in responsible AI and regenerative business models. 

Cláudia Carvalho is a dedicated and dynamic professional with a degree in Clinical Physiology and solid experience in cardiopneumology.

She currently works at VitalAire, where she provides respiratory care at home, accompanying people with Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome and respiratory failure, as well as patients with neuromuscular pathologies.

In addition to her academic and professional background, Cláudia is creative and enthusiastic about technological innovations, with a particular interest in the impact of artificial intelligence on healthcare. Demonstrating a strong vocation for continuous learning, she is investing in acquiring new skills, including a micro-credential in Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing from the University of Aveiro and a course in Neurofeedback.

I am Kakeeto Clive, a Software and Web Developer, Machine Learning Enthusiast, and Speaker at the AI for Good Kampala Hub. My work centers around the intersection of technology and social impact, with a particular focus on leveraging Artificial Intelligence to address pressing challenges in health, education, sustainability, and inclusive innovation.

With a strong background in full-stack development, I build scalable digital solutions using tools such as Python, JavaScript, Django, and React. I am also actively expanding my expertise in machine learning, working with frameworks like TensorFlow and scikit-learn to create intelligent systems that are ethical, transparent, and human-centered.

As a speaker and advocate for responsible AI, I engage communities in conversations around the ethical development and deployment of emerging technologies. I am an Information Technology student specializing in Multiplatform Software Development, with experience in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Java, as well as in SQL and NoSQL database analysis. I am proficient in frameworks like Angular, Laravel, and Ionic, and I have skills in design tools such as Figma. My passion lies in the development of scalable applications and the implementation of cybersecurity best practices, as I am eager to grow professionally in this field.

Daniel Tejo is a passionate computer scientist with a strong foundation in the Data field, where he has been working for a few years as a Data Analyst. Beyond his technical expertise, he has a profound interest in psychology, which inspires his efforts to understand human development and behavior. He has also dedicated time to teaching young kids Brazilian jiu-jitsu and self-defense classes, fostering discipline, confidence, and resilience in his students. This teaching experience has honed his ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and adapt his methods to suit individual needs.

Currently serving as a R&D Engineer at the Idiap Research Institute, David applies cutting-edge AI techniques to tackle complex societal challenges, focusing on media and sustainability sectors. His notable contributions include developing datasets, NLP tools, and AI-driven dashboards that address pressing issues such as urban sustainability and migration policies.

David is an active contributor to European initiatives like AI4Media and ELIAS, where he has published multiple peer-reviewed papers exploring the ethical and impactful use of AI in media and public policy. His work bridges the gap between academia and real-world applications, ensuring AI innovation aligns with values of inclusivity, equity, and sustainability.

Beyond his technical accomplishments, David demonstrates a strong commitment to community service and education. He has volunteered in Equatorial Guinea, teaching mathematics, sciences, and French to secondary school students and training teachers in computer science. David Mayoral is the youngest member of Mexico’s National Council for the 2030 Agenda. As Yucatán’s ambassador to the United Nations and a youth delegate to the G20, he has promoted an agenda focused on anti-racism and reducing inequality, building on his experience as a Young Peacebuilder in the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations.

His social entrepreneurship initiative, “AdaLead”, aims to reduce lethal violence against journalists and environmental activists by leveraging crowdsourcing, AI-driven recognition of violent patterns, and peacebuilding strategies. His expertise in human rights and civic engagement has also led him to serve as a State Coordinator of Education in Yucatán within the Global Network of Young Politicians, where he oversees a portfolio of projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In his role as Youth and Transformative Education Lead at Ashoka Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, he enables more people to become changemakers through quality education and community building from an early age. We Data’s mission is to empower individuals—especially in the social sciences—to leverage data science for informed decision-making.
