Amna Alhammadi is an accomplished technology enthusiast and emerging leader in Artificial Intelligence and sustainability, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. With a solid academic foundation, she is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Machine Learning (2024-2026) at Mohammed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, complementing her Bachelor of Computer Science (2022) from the United Arab Emirates University, where she graduated with a 3.6 GPA. Amna has a demonstrated history of blending technical expertise with a passion for innovation and impactful solutions.

Her professional experience spans key roles in renowned organizations. As an Associate Software Engineer at Katim, she excelled in mobile application development and product ownership. At Bayanat, she contributed as a Junior Software Developer, focusing on software quality assurance and testing. I’m Anas Ali, the COO of Esaal and DTera, and I also work as a Project Manager in the Digital Transformation Department at Dubai Digital Authority. I’m passionate about building solutions that actually solve problems—whether it’s through tech, operations, or product.

At Esaal, I’ve been leading the charge on digital receipts and customer data platforms, focusing on sustainability, smart analytics, and simplifying compliance for businesses. With DTera, I help government and private sector clients scale with the right mix of technology and digital strategy.

I come from a product background, and I’m heavily involved in execution—from Flutter development to sales strategies to working directly with clients. My focus is always forward: How can we innovate, move faster, and build smarter?

Ander is an Innovation Consultant, Generative AI Educator, and Digital Product Creator. With a solid technical background in Telecommunications Engineering and AI innovation, he has worked at the intersection of cutting-edge technologies and user-centered innovation. At Telefónica, he currently serves as a Creative Product Business Manager, where he designs and prototypes new business models around AI, Web3, and the Metaverse.

He also teaches Generative AI for Programming at IEBS Business School and co-founded CreatorsAi, an AI automation agency and academy that empowers individuals and companies to streamline their business processes using the latest AI tools.

His main focus is CreatorsAI, a gamified educational platform that turns personal growth and digital skill-building into an engaging experience. Inspired by models like Duolingo and the creator economy, CreatorsAI helps users build their personal brand, launch digital products, and develop key competencies through daily challenges, missions powered by AI, and a level-based progression system.

At the core of this initiative lies Ander’s own framework: the Lean Creators AI method. This methodology blends Lean Startup principles with intelligent automation and content creation, allowing digital creators and solopreneurs to launch faster, more authentically, and with built-in scalability. It helps users identify the bottlenecks in their process and apply AI to unlock growth — across branding, communication, product, sales, and delivery.

Driven by a passion for human-centered innovation, Ander believes that technology should enhance awareness and enable people to create from a place of authenticity. His mission is to empower the next generation of digital creators to use AI as a tool for both personal transformation and positive social impact.

André is currently finishing a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at Universidade Portucalense and looking to continue in that vein and develop academically by enrolling in a Master’s Degree in the same area of studies. With a curious and analytical mindset, he is interested in global affairs, diplomacy, international politics and cooperation, global governance, and the ethical challenges that can arise from emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence.
Driven by the desire to explore the intersection between politics and technology, André is particularly intrigued by the role that AI may come to play in areas like diplomacy or public discourse (misinformation, …).

He is characterized by being an open person, to new experiences and learnings, so, in this sense, André engages with AI for Good’s Lisbon Hub, where he hopes to explore both the potential and the challenges of AI in fostering global cooperation and addressing pressing international challenges, and contribute to the discussions surrounding AI governance, ethical policymaking, and the role of technology in conflict resolution.

Andrea is a law graduate from the PUCP Faculty of Law (Pontifical Catholic University of Peru) and currently works in the Personal Data Protection area at CLARO, a leading telecommunications company. With a strong background in law and technology, she specializes in the regulation and protection of personal data in the digital age.

Her academic journey includes serving as a Board Member of THEMIS, PUCP’s student-led law association, and contributing extensively to legal discussions through various articles published on Enfoque Derecho. Passionate about the intersection of artificial intelligence and data protection, Andrea has actively participated in major academic events, including the II International Congress on Administrative Law, the most important Peruvian academic event on “Artificial Intelligence and Public Administration”, organized by the PUCP Faculty of Law in 2024. She was also a speaker at the II International Congress on Tech and Law, hosted by Universidad Científica del Sur, where she explored regulatory challenges in neurotechnology and neurodata protection.

Driven by her commitment to the evolving legal landscape, Andrea continues to engage in discussions on AI governance, privacy, and digital rights, ensuring that legal frameworks adapt to technological advancements while safeguarding fundamental rights.

Andreas Tjendra is a consultant in industrial and market technology. He currently holds the position of Industry Partner at RMIT University and serves as the Director of AI Innovation at KORIKA (Collaborative Research Industrial and Innovation Artificial Intelligence). In his distinguished career, Andreas has contributed his expertise as an industry expert in various prestigious projects, including the AI Singapore x Google: Project SEALD Language Summit. He has also served as a Subject Matter Expert for the Technical Guidance Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Bimtek KOMINFO) and the Digital Ecosystem Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres). His extensive AI experience spans across areas such as LiDAR, GIS Mapping, LLM, and BIM 3D Mapping, among others. Previously, in Australia Geotech with more than 10,000+ projects

Andrés is a Software Engineer at Univerbal, a YC-backed ETH spin-off, where he contributes to the development of an AI-powered language learning application. With experience in software engineering, telecommunications, and artificial intelligence, he focuses on building efficient and scalable systems that enhance user experience and accessibility. His role involves optimizing front-end and back-end architectures, ensuring smooth interactions between users and AI-driven learning models.

He studied Computer Science at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and holds a Master’s in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. His work has involved applying AI techniques in various domains, including accessibility solutions for the visually impaired. At biped.ai, he worked on depth estimation, semantic segmentation, and trajectory prediction to convert visual data into auditory cues, helping users navigate their surroundings more independently. Additionally, during his time at EPFL Racing Team, he developed SLAM algorithms that enabled an autonomous race car to construct maps of unknown tracks and localize itself efficiently.

Andrés is interested in the practical applications of AI, particularly in improving communication and accessibility. Through his work at Univerbal and his involvement in AI for Good, he aims to contribute to technology-driven solutions that have a meaningful impact on society. His approach to engineering is driven by curiosity, problem-solving, and a commitment to building impactful technology. I am an Economist specialized in Data Science, passionate about the power of data, communities and volunteering for driving societal change. I currently work as a Data Engineering consultant at Blend, one of the top data engineering firms in my home country. I am a co-organizer of “Montevideo Applied Data Science” meetups and ConnectIA, a Data Science and AI conference with a strong community mindset, open to everyone and free. Lastly, I am volunteering as data consultant for two local NGOs: Redalco, aimed at reducing food insecurity, and Fundacion Salir Adelante, which fosters the equality of opportunity in the educational environment.

I am a PhD researcher in psychology, my research looks at awe as an emotional experience, its mechanisms (attentional, cognitive, social), how it is constructed and how it can best be designed into immersive experiences to make them positively transformative. In parallel, I am developing a creative pratice informed by my research, using interactive digital installations as a vector of positive transformation.

Azul Jara is a dedicated educator and pedagogical innovator with extensive experience in teacher training, and educational technology integration. With a strong passion for education, culture, artificial intelligence, and innovation, she strives to inspire both her peers and students to reach their full potential. Azul firmly believes in the transformative power of education and the necessity of continuous adaptation to provide meaningful and high-quality learning experiences.

Currently, Azul serves as the Director of Pedagogical Innovation at Alexandr.IA, where she ensures that AI-driven learning solutions are pedagogically effective, accessible, and tailored to students’ needs. She collaborates closely with technology and community teams to design educational experiences and leads professional development programs for educators.
Her teaching career spans various institutions, including Colegio Aljibes, where she taught English at the primary level, and Colegio Reims, where she instructed Italian and English across primary and secondary levels.

Azul has also contributed significantly to teacher training initiatives, delivering workshops on active learning methodologies such as Project-Based Learning, Gamification, and Cooperative Learning across Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Peru, and other regions.

Bahavathy Kathirgamanathan is a research scientist at Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems (IAIS) and a scientific coordinator for Human Centered AI systems at the Lamarr institute for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Her research focuses on the development of human centric models. She is particularly interested in the development of techniques that allow human involvement at every stage of the modelling process, from data representation, to model development, to providing explanations back to the user. Her research interests include using visual analytics as a tool to aid this process.

She completed her PhD in 2023 in Computer Science at University College Dublin (Ireland). Her research focus for her PhD dissertation was in multivariate time series classification of wearable sensor data for applications in sports analytics.

Driven by a strong commitment to ensuring that AI applications are trustworthy and explainable, she hopes to use the young AI leaders program to contribute meaningfully towards regional projects that work towards AI for good.

I’m a Biomedical and Mechatronics Engineer persuing a Master of Science in Computer Science keen on Robot Learning in AI research. Acting Hardware Technical Lead at the Makerere AI Health Lab at Makerere University,Kampala. 

Beatriz Aleixo is a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, University of Coimbra, Portugal. She is currently conducting research in computational neuroscience at the Coimbra Institute for Biomedical Imaging and Translational Research (CIBIT), focusing on unraveling the neural mechanisms of visual attention. Beatriz holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a master’s degree in Computational Engineering from the University of Aveiro, Portugal.

Her expertise and interests span cognitive neuroscience, complex dynamical systems, and artificial intelligence applications. She is most keen on modelling the brain, harnessing the predictive power of computer simulations to deepen our understanding of neural mechanisms while minimizing the need for resource-intensive experimental research – including time, materials, and animal testing. Given the profound impact of neuroscience on future technologies, she is especially interested in its intersections with neuromorphic computing and artificial intelligence. Her previous research includes applying artificial intelligence to automate processes in the civil sector and to assist in autism diagnosis.

A strong advocate for open science, she believes knowledge should be accessible to all. Moreover, Beatriz is particularly worried about the social impact of artificial intelligence. Therefore, she is committed to fostering awareness about the promises and risks of artificial intelligence, ensuring her community remains informed and engaged in shaping its future.

I am Beatriz Ferreira Almeida, a Clinical Research Associate at Medpace Portugal with a background in Biomedical Sciences and Biochemistry. My work focuses on supporting clinical trials and translational research that contribute to the development of safe and effective therapies.

Beyond clinical research, I am passionate about the responsible and inclusive use of emerging technologies. I am a member of the project Vem d’AI, an initiative dedicated to developing AI literacy activities for senior communities. Through this work, we aim to bring AI closer to people, demonstrating its potential in everyday life and promoting digital inclusion.

I am particularly motivated by initiatives that use science and technology to reduce inequalities, support vulnerable communities, and promote a more sustainable and equitable future.

Bendjedid Rachad Sanoussi is an ICT specialist with an infectious enthusiasm for environmental protection. Since 2016, he has been working to provide innovative and sustainable solutions to socio-economic and environmental challenges. Currently, Rachad is pursuing a PhD in digital and artificial intelligence (AI) for management. His current research focuses on using AI to enhance customer experiences in sustainable tourism. His aspiration as a researcher is to bridge the gap between academia and industry through applied research. Furthermore, Rachad actively contributes to the analysis, research, and evaluation of cutting-edge policies. He was a member of the research group at the Centre for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP), where he contributed

to the assessment of AI policies and practices for Morocco using several metrics based on the CAIDP Artificial Intelligence and Democratic Values (AIDV) 2022 report. Previously, he worked at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as a Digital Transformation Support, and ICT Engineering Support. He supported the implementation of the Digital Readiness Assessment (DRA) and the Artificial Intelligence Landscape Assessment (AILA) and contributed to the deployment of digital solutions worldwide. He also worked as a communications intern at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). For four years, he taught and facilitated practical work for telecommunications engineering students as a laboratory technician at the University of Abomey-Calavi. Rachad also holds a certification in Marketing and Communications. For Rachad, digital technologies must contribute more to a more sustainable future. His passion, determination, and ambition led him to get more involved in the community and become an SDG advocate by sharing and passing on hope to young people through his work and community commitments in many organisations, including Ecolotrip, Digital Grassroots, Internet Society Benin, Cadre de Concertation des Associations / Organisations de Développement de la Commune de Pobe (CCAD/Pobe), Global Landscapes Forum (GLF), Global Youth Climate Network (GYCN), World Youth Parliament for Water (WYPW), etc. At Digital Grassroots, Rachad curated the Community Leaders Program for Internet Advocacy which focuses on using the Internet for democratic participation. Their Digital Rights Monopoly project has been selected for C/Change’s 2nd Creative Research & Development Lab. They developed a virtual platform modelling decentralized power distribution and amplifying marginalized youth voices. Rachad coordinated the working group on universal access and meaningful connectivity for the Project Youth Summit. As an Open Internet Leader, he also collaborated with the AU-EU Digital for Development Hub (D4D Hub) to bring youth voices to the 17th Internet Governance Forum (IGF). Rachad aspires to become a tech policy analyst. He is a DWeb Fellow and an ICTforAg Youth Ambassador, and he co-founded Green Leaf AI, an AgriTech startup that uses artificial intelligence to detect date palm diseases. Green Leaf AI was awarded 2nd place at Falling Walls Lab Morocco 2024 and was one of the semi-finalist startups in the ITU AI for Climate Action Innovation Factory 2024. Moreover, Rachad is one of the recipients of the Youth Digital Champion (YDC) awards. He also earned the Inaugural Paul Muchene Fellow Award, a tribute to Paul Muchene.

Bokang has a strong analytical mindset and a deep curiosity about technology, problem-solving, and software development.
