Nadiedja Luna Baez is a law graduate and human rights officer based in Mexico City, with a growing interest in the intersection of technology, artificial intelligence, and human rights. She is currently working on her bachelor’s thesis on the impact of artificial intelligence on human rights, exploring regulatory challenges and considerations within the Mexican legal framework. With a passion for tech for good, she is particularly interested in how AI can be utilized to promote human rights and justice while addressing ethical and legal challenges.

Nadiedja studied law at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and completed an exchange semester at the University of Geneva, focusing on human rights and international law. She currently works at the Supreme Court of Justice of Mexico, where she focuses on the legal and human rights dimensions of enforced disappearances and migration, working on judicial protocols for enforced disappearances and conducting strategic research on migration and forced displacement.

Beyond her work at the Supreme Court, Nadiedja served as a board member at Amnesty International Mexico from 2022 to 2024. In 2020, she founded and led the Girl Up UNAM club, building it into a community of over 200 members and advocating for gender equality through various projects and initiatives. In 2022, she collaborated with Propel, a nonprofit dedicated to connecting technology and people to close critical social disparities in Latin America.

Nataly Andréa Rojas Barnett is a distinguished researcher recognized for her contributions to accessible technology, space exploration, and artificial intelligence. She holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM) and has been the face of UNMSM for her outstanding achievements as an undergraduate student.

She was selected as a mentor and speaker at the first edition of NASA Space Apps Challenge Oaxaca 2024, inspiring young minds in space innovation. Since 2023, she has been part of Acercándote al Universo Foundation, actively promoting science and engineering outreach in Oaxaca, fostering interest in STEM fields among students and professionals.

She has led innovative projects such as PROTESÓNICOS, a 3D-printed myoelectric arm for people with disabilities; YAPAYKUY, an AI-based tool for hearing-impaired communication; and FOOD FLOW, an AI-driven food supply optimization system.

In aerospace, she has advanced nanosatellite research and analog space missions, promoting STEM education in underserved communities. Her initiative, CUBESATS, empowered girls in remote areas to build and launch their own nanosatellite, fostering inclusion in space technology.

Nataly led the first analog Mars research mission in Poland as Commander, conducting thermodynamic and biophysical studies on astronauts in extreme conditions. She trained in centrifuge simulations for space entry/reentry and neutral buoyancy for microgravity, preparing for real astronautic challenges.
She also developed a Disease Detection and Prevention System for Astronauts, integrating AI and smart clothing with voice assistance.

Nataly has represented Poland, Turkey, Japan, Italy, and Mexico in international science, technology, and space forums. She continues to inspire future scientists and innovators in Oaxaca, driving technological progress with inclusivity and sustainability.

Nico Koltermann is the current Impact Lead for the Young AI Leaders – Dortmund Hub. With a background in computer science, he specializes in applying AI to complex systems, from autonomous vehicles to multi-robot logistics optimization. As a software engineer, he also has experience in web development and industrial software development.

In the Formula Student project at TU Dortmund, he was part of the team that developed the first autonomous vehicle, which successfully competed in international events. Additionally, he co-developed a digital incentive for reusable packaging, which earned recognition through the Greenhouse-Ruhr scholarship and an innovation award. This project sparked his interest in social business development and expanded his network among purpose-driven and sustainability-focused companies in the Ruhr area.

At the AI for Good Dortmund Hub, he aims to combine his practical and theoretical background to bring a fresh perspective on AI. His goal is to raise awareness of AI’s impact on sustainability within the AI community in the Ruhr area by organizing events and creating accessible resources on AI development.

Her passion for leveraging technology to drive societal good was evident in her dissertation, which explored how homelessness charities could improve service delivery through technology.

Here, she helped implement the organisation’s pioneering purpose-driven strategy. His experience ranges from conducting predictive modeling on large-scale biomarker datasets to analyzing the nutritional composition of diets. A lo largo de mi formación profesional he trabajado en diversos proyectos que integran tecnologías frontend y backend, destacándome por mi enfoque en la creación de soluciones tecnológicas funcionales, interactivas y centradas en el usuario.

Fui certificado como desarrollador frontend por Oracle, y en 2024 concluí mis prácticas profesionales en la Universidad Dalhousie, en Canadá, donde colaboré en el desarrollo de una aplicación móvil destinada a apoyar a personas autistas a regular su respiración durante episodios de ansiedad. Este proyecto integró sensores fisiológicos como EmotiBit y tecnologías de loT para brindar retroalimentación visual en tiempo real.

Además, obtuve el tercer lugar en un concurso estatal de programación, presentando un proyecto enfocado en la detección y extracción automática de números de placas vehiculares, utilizando visión por computadora y procesamiento de imágenes.

Mi stack de tecnologías incluye React, React Native, Node.js, Vite, Python y herramientas de análisis de datos fisiológicos. También he trabajado con APIs y dispositivos inteligentes como luces Philips Hue, LIF X y TP-Link Kasa, asi como en experiencias interactivas visuales como simuladores astronómicos y animaciones web.
