Théophile Houessou

Theophile is a Machine Learning Engineer working at the forefront of digital transformation within an international organization, where he leads initiatives that leverage data, AI, and emerging technologies to strengthen organizational effectiveness and impact. He is also currently pursuing a PhD in Health Data Management at the University of Geneva, with research interests focused on the governance and responsible use of data and digital technologies.

Beyond his professional and academic work, Theophile is an active member of the Global Shapers Geneva Hub, a community of young leaders committed to driving positive change through dialogue and action.

Drawing on both his technical expertise and research background, Theophile explores how AI and emerging technologies are reshaping work, opportunity, and societal outcomes. He is particularly interested in ensuring that technological progress remains inclusive, human-centered, and aligned with the aspirations of a generation seeking both purpose and progress in the age of AI.
