From the beginning I was excited about the AI for Good program. It’s a powerful initiative that harnesses the incredible potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make a real difference in the world. AI for Good is a global call to action, inviting all of us to innovate and push the boundaries of AI solutions. In my personal view, AI for Good program set the ultimate goal of addressing the critical challenges outlined in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) creating a better future for all humanity and our planet. It’s truly inspiring to see how AI can be a force for good in every aspect of our lives!
What activities did you participate during the scholar program?
I started participating by mentoring my students to participate in the call for AI Use Case Development integrating Next Generation Networks with AI. I have managed to submit seven different Use Cases that attempt to address local problems using AI. I and my students learned that making the scope global and making it more practical would help in the future.
Besides, I and one of my students were selected as AI for Good Scholar to participant the workshop in Geneva. I have personally fully reviewed three and partially seven use cases submitted by various winners. During my physical participation I was the speaker on two different panel discussions. Beside to sharing my experiences in AI and Wireless Technologies I got many insights and lots of networking.
In what ways did you benefit from the scholar program?
As said earlier, the following three are major benefits I have gathered personally:
New insights on next generation wireless technologies and solutions,
The extent or diversity of AI applications, and The networking I have got encompassing all continents and different walks of life.
