Zhuangyuan Yang

Zhuangyuan Yang is a Senior Director of Government Affairs at SpacemiT, a leading RISC-V AI CPU computing ecosystem company. She holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and is a Senior Engineer.

With over 9 years of experience at the China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) Electronic Technology Standardization Institute, including a secondment to a relevant national ministry, Ms. Yang has led the drafting of multiple national standards and policies. Her work has been crucial in shaping regulations and standards in the information technology sector, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and its responsible deployment.

At SpacemiT, Ms. Yang is responsible for strategic engagement and policy advocacy. She leverages her deep understanding of both government policies and technological innovation to bridge the gap between industry and regulatory bodies. She is a key contributor to SpacemiT’s mission of advancing RISC-V architecture for an intelligent future, particularly in the application of AI to solve global challenges.
Ms. Yang is actively involved in the “Emotional Companion Robot” project, a RISC-V chip-powered solution designed to provide empathetic companionship to the elderly, left-behind children, and isolated individuals. This initiative exemplifies SpacemiT’s commitment to “AI for Good” by ensuring privacy, low latency, and affordability through locally deployed, self-developed RISC-V chips.

She is a strong advocate for responsible AI development and believes in leveraging technology to build inclusive and sustainable communities. Ms. Yang is honored to contribute to the global dialogue at the ITU AI for Good Global Summit 2026.
