Zhang Hong

She is the Research Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences (AIR-CAS).

Her research focuses on intelligent processing of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery, including polarimetric SAR and Interferometric SAR (InSAR). She is a co-author of China’s first monograph on InSAR, Satellite-Based Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry, a foundational reference in the field.

She serves as Vice Chair of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) Beijing Chapter, a Member of the Remote Sensing Image Committee of the China Society of Image and Graphics, and an Editorial Board Member of the Earth Observation column of China Scientific Data.
