Tsafak Djoumessi Pauline O. Gnimpieba

Dr TSAFAK DJOUMESSI Pauline O. GNIMPIEBA has been Director of Postal, Telecommunications and ICT Regulation at the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the Republic of Cameroon since 2016. Prior to this, she was Technical Advisor to the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications. She is also Coordinator of the Technical Secretariat of the Interministerial Board for Frequency Bands Allocation in Cameroon. With 26 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, she has led several projects, including the strategic development plan for Cameroon’s digital economy. Her most important project currently underway is the reform of the legal and regulatory framework for the telecommunications and ICT sector, which is designed to align to digital development, and the development of the national strategy for artificial intelligence. She is actively involved in ITU-T standardisation activities through Study Group 3.
