Selah Key is the founder and lead researcher of Ordinary Days, an AI research studio developing context-aware multimodal systems for personalized stress response regulation. Her work sits at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Affective Computing, and Digital Health, focusing on multimodal sensory grounding and N-of-1 clinical design. Her current research on Ordinary Days was featured in multiple workshop publications at CHI 2026.

An experienced product leader with over seven years of industry experience spanning product, design, and marketing, Selah previously served as Founding Product Lead at Ticker Capital, where she secured $2M in seed funding for a decentralized AI data ecosystem ‘AiGO Network’. Her background spans 0-to-1 product launches at Seed to Series-A startups and tech initiatives at global corporations across fintech, mobility, crypto, and entertainment. She is currently advancing research on AI and healthcare at the University of Washington’s Human Centered Design and Engineering program. There, she worked as a graduate researcher in multiple Directed Research Groups including aviation mental health, publishing a CHI 2026 poster on socio-technical frameworks for AI-mediated mental health support.
