Sunny is the President of Electrical, Connected World and Transportation Technologies businesses at Intertek. Sunny joined Intertek in 1986 and has held various roles in engineering, sales leadership & operational management for the Semiconductor, Renewable Energy, Industrial product and Connected World businesses.

Most recently Sunny has been instrumental in the development of the Cyber Security, Functional Safety and Artificial Intelligence services. The Intertek AI2 offering at Intertek brings Transparency, Safety & Security to the AI systems and products. Sunny’s 35+ years of experience has supported the implementation of an End-to-End Assurance service for Smarter, Safer, Trusted AI solutions.

Mr. Rai holds a B.Sc. degree from University of Delhi, India and a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, from San Francisco, California. Sunny is a well-recognized leader in the Product regulatory & quality assurance industry worldwide with countless papers,
articles, and public policy engagements to his credit. He has been an active member of the standard developing activities, including the Co-Chair of International Compliance & Regulatory Committee (ICRC) at SEMI and a founding member & leader for IECRE Renewable Energy scheme at IEC and a member of the Product Testing & Certification Committee at TIC Council.
