Roy Schwartz

Roy Schwartz is an associate professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Prior to that Roy was a postdoc (2016-2019) and then a research scientist (2019-2020) at the AllenNLP team at the Allen institute for AI and at the School of Computer Science and Engineering at The University of Washington, where he was working with Noah A. Smith. Roy completed his Ph.D. in 2016 at the School of Computer Science and Engineering at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he worked with Ari Rappoport. In 2011, he graduated his masters degree (magna cum laude) in computer science, under the supervision of Prof. Ari Rappoport. Prior to that, he studied computer science and cognitive sciences at the Hebrew University, and completed his B.Sc. (magna cum laude) in 2008. He was a member of the Amirim program for outstanding undergraduate students. In 2004-2005, he was a software engineer at Check Point Ltd.
