Ronaldo Cheruiyot is a passionate technologist, AI enthusiast, and social impact innovator dedicated to leveraging artificial intelligence to drive meaningful change. He is an active member of the Young AI Leaders Community at AI for Good, where he contributes to initiatives that promote ethical and responsible AI innovation aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Ronaldo’s work spans multiple domains, including AI for accessibility, agriculture, and digital inclusion. As the creator of the Disability Commodity Finder, he is committed to using AI-driven tools to enhance access to essential products for individuals with disabilities. By integrating machine learning and natural language processing, he aims to build intelligent recommendation systems that personalize and simplify the search for assistive technologies.

In the agricultural sector, Ronaldo has been instrumental in developing Agriland-Connect, a platform designed to connect landowners and farmers with opportunities for leasing, investment, and agricultural development. Through AI-driven analytics and automation, his work seeks to optimize land use, improve market access, and enhance decision-making for stakeholders in the agricultural industry.

Beyond his technical expertise, Ronaldo has demonstrated leadership in technology education and mentorship. He has been involved with ALX Africa, where he has tutored children in technology, and is an alumnus of the Aspire Institute, where he developed skills in leadership and innovation. His participation in the Leading Young program further underscores his dedication to civic engagement and community-driven change.

Ronaldo’s contributions to the AI ecosystem have been recognized through multiple achievements, including being selected as one of the top 12 finalists in the Hack4PWD competition at Microsoft ADC, where he showcased innovative AI solutions for accessibility.

As a Young AI Leader, Ronaldo is committed to fostering collaboration, inclusivity, and AI-driven problem-solving. He actively engages in AI for Good projects, ensuring that artificial intelligence remains a force for positive transformation in Kenya and beyond. Through his work, he aims to bridge the gap between AI innovation and real-world applications, ensuring that technology serves the needs of diverse communities.
