Roman Danyliw

Roman Danyliw current serves as the Chair of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).  Other past roles in the IETF have included Area Director for Security and multiple appointments as a Working Group Chair in topics areas such as internet of things and cyber security operations.

In addition to serving as IETF Chair, Roman is currently the Deputy Chief Technology Officer of the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU SEI).   In this role, Roman oversees CMU SEI’s technical portfolio of applied research and development focused on cybersecurity, software engineering and artificial intelligence.
