Rathinamala Vijay

Dr. Rathinamala Vijay is currently a Technologist at the Center of Excellence Wired and Wireless Technologies (CoE WWT), ARTPARK. Prior to this, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Telecommunications Network (TKN) group at TU Berlin. She is currently involved in developing Software Defined Radio (SDR) based 5G testbeds with the focus to enable drones, Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGV), and Extended Reality (XR) applications. She is also involved in 6G initiatives such as AI-RAN for efficient resource allocation, and millimeter wave communication. She has worked on cognitive Radios, power line communications, BLE Mesh networks, and IEEE 802.11 a/g/p networks in Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, where she completed her PhD. She has also been a visiting researcher at UC Davis and TU Berlin, and has worked on PAPR reduction algorithms in OFDM and developing testbeds for performance evaluation using SDRs.
