Ranvir Sachdeva
Ranvir Sachdeva, born in 2017, is a child prodigy who is a technologist (AI), a global author, and a TEDx speaker. He is also a Technology Ambassador for ECB Sustainable Youth, City One Initiative and Chakra Dialogues Foundation.
In September 2024, Ranvir, aged 6, became the world’s youngest participant to have ever been invited by the United Nations to attend the 79th General Assembly session – Summit of The Future at UN Headquarters in New York. He was personally congratulated by His Excellency, Secretary General, Antonio Guterres for his book, ‘Are You Born With AI?’ which talks about Responsible AI and the youth being the change makers. Antonio wrote in his words for Ranvir, “We count on you for a better world with AI!” . United Nations has done an exclusive story on Ranvir’s commitment to AI driving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals which is published on their official website. He was also acknowledged by the UN Youth Affairs for his contributions around SDGs after his meeting with the United Nations Assistant-Secretary General, Felipe Paullier.
Earlier, at age 6, Ranvir became the world’s youngest TEDx speaker on technology and innovation (Artificial Intelligence). He also holds the record for being the Youngest TEDx speaker in Asia and has his name registered in the Asia Book of Records.
With a Google certification on Responsible AI, Ranvir has built his own AI powered chatbot integrating with apps using APIs. Ranvir is also a global author after he penned down his first book – ‘Are You Born With AI?’. The book is available globally on Amazon and delivers a strong message of Responsible AI with youth as the change makers. At age 6, his Cambridge Assessments (CEM) reported his subject knowledge equivalent to that of a 14 year old globally. Ranvir is currently pursuing a course on Machine Learning from Harvard University.
At age 5, Ranvir became the world’s youngest Apple Swift programmer to meet and to be invited by Apple CEO Tim Cook for the Worldwide Developers Conference at Apple Headquarters in California in 2023.
Also, Ranvir was declared the youngest Green Yodha by Schneider Electric CMO, Chris Leong, after he shared his knowledge around sustainability and Net Zero at a global exposition, at age 5. At age 4, his summer project on Mars Mission was showcased on NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory website.
With his interest in mathematics, digital technologies, sustainability, and space, Ranvir has also been recognised by WWF, IIT (IHFC) Delhi, Ministry of Education, Science Oxford, and Reading Agency UK. He pursues Cricket and plays for his school’s under-10 team and also involves himself in Chess and Scrabble during his leisure.
