Randi Goertz

Randi Goertz is the coordinator of the ELLIS Unit Graz, the Graz Research Center for Machine Learning (GraML) at Graz University of Technology and Project coordinator for the Communication and Transfer Unit of the Cluster of Excellence ‘Bilateral AI’, which is funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).
Before, she obtained her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition, and Behaviour at Radboud University in Nijmegen in the Netherlands, where she investigated how knowledge structures in our brain can be used to make learning more efficient.
With shifting her focus to research management, she now actively contributes to improve academic structures for more collaboration to strengthen European research excellence.
