Neuroskin

Neuroskin is a medical device that uses AI and neuromuscular electrostimulation to improve the rehabilitation of motor handicapped individuals. It is composed of a lower limbs garments with embedded electrodes placed on the locomotor muscles; a set of sensors that monitor the position of the user in real time; and a stimulator that sends electrical impulses to the muscles, according to the movement of the user, in order to help them perform functional tasks such as standing, walking, going up and down stairs, sitting or cycling. It can be used for instance by post-stroke (hemiplegics), spinal cord injured (para and tetraplegics), multiple sclerosis, or Parkinson disease patients.
