Ms. Patricia Lyn MCCULLAGH

Patricia McCullagh (BA [Commerce, French], University Western, London, Ontario, 1983; MSc [International Political Economy], The London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom, 1988), joined the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) in 2003 as senior economist and private sector development team leader. Ms. McCullagh was CIDA’s Director of gender equality from 2005-2007 and was also Director, strategic analysis and operations, Europe, Middle East, Maghreb, Afghanistan, Pakistan CIDA. Overseas, she has served in Kenya, Vietnam, Indonesia, Tanzania. Her first Ambassador post was in Côte d’Ivoire (2015-17) and she was Canadian Ambassador to Algeria (2017-19). Prior to her current posting in Geneva, Ms. McCullagh was Executive Director, Haiti and Canadian Director to the Caribbean Development Bank based in Ottawa.
