Marie Sellier

Marie Sellier has extensive experience in creative industries, with a focus on intellectual property and the music sector. She currently provides legal and technical expertise on AI in relation with IP industries.

Previously, she was Vice President Public Affairs at Vivendi, one of the world’s leading content, media, and communications groups, with a strong presence in the music industry through Universal Music Group. In this role, she actively took part to negotiations on key EU legislation, including the Copyright Directive, Digital Services Act, Digital Markets Act, Media Freedom Act, and the Artificial Intelligence Act.

Marie Sellier holds an Executive MBA from TRIUM (NYU, LSE, HEC), a master’s degree in international business law from ESSEC, and is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris.

Since 2022, she has served as a member of the Franco-German Cultural High Council, supporting bilateral cooperation in arts and culture.
