Maikel Wilms

Maikel Wilms has been with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) since 1998. Maikel is a core member of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice. Maikel has worked extensively with leading telcos for more than 20 years on multiple projects, with a focus on network strategy and roll-out and on B2B commercial strategies. These projects include technology selection for a fixed broadband roll-out, growing ICT businesses, 4G roll-out strategies, and B2B channel optimization. Maikel has co-authored many BCG publications on telcos, digital infrastructure and their role in the digital economy and led the BCG knowledge partner work for DIII for the last 3 years.

Regarding the session, thanks for the heads up on the stage seats. We are finalizing the session structure and run of show, and we will revert shortly with specific details. Just a heads-up that Maikel Wilms (BCG) will deliver some brief remarks about the work the DII Catalyser is doing with BCG on the Digital and AI Infra Investment Playbook before the actual fireside chat. Thus, he will not be part of the actual panel, leaving EDFI, Google and a country rep (Malaysia tbc) + moderator on the stage.
