Kelly Richdale

Kelly Richdale is an Independent Board Director and Advisor with expertise in cybersecurity, operational risk and frontier technologies (AI, quantum & blockchain).
She is Senior Advisor for SandboxAQ, Alphabet’s spin off combining AI + Quantum techniques to develop critical advances in life sciences, financial services, defence and other sectors. She is also a Venture Partner at Amadeus Capital Partners (the European deeptech investor), where she advises or chairs various portfolio companies in the fields of AI, privacy and quantum-safe security. Additionally Kelly sits on a number of European boards in the payments, financial and insurance sectors.
Previously Kelly was an Executive Fellow at the World Economic Forum where she was co-Lead Author of the Quantum Economy Blueprint. She was also on the Innovation Council for Innosuisse, the Swiss federal government’s agency for technology innovation. As a serial entrepreneur, she co-founded and/or developed and exited start ups in the domain of biometrics, identity management, cryptocurrency and quantum-safe security.
Kelly holds an MBA from INSEAD, an MA from Cambridge University and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). She served as a long-time Scientific Board Member and lecturer at Geneva University’s course on Information Security, and was on the board of the Swiss chapter of (ISC)2 from 2015-2018.
